Remembrance Day Ceremonies

We Remember

Every year on November 11, Canadians pause in a silent moment of remembrance for the men and women who have served, and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace. We honour those who fought for Canada in the First World War (1914-1918), the Second World War (1939-1945), and the Korean War (1950-1953), as well as those who have served since then. More than 2.3 million Canadians have served our country in this way, and more than 118,000 have died. They gave their lives and their futures so that we may live in peace.

Christmas Concert

Have Yourself a Swinging Little Christmas

This year’s Christmas program is sure to fill you with the spirit of the season as we play the themes from the beloved story, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. We are ringing in the season with a few of the traditional favorites served up in a swinging style, such as “Bell Carol a la Swing” and the always great “Mary’s Boy Child”, but never fear; we won’t forget to play some of the favorites in the good old fashioned way. You can look forward to some of our talented musicians being featured in this not-to-be-missed seasonal show.

Some of the most famous and beloved melodies of all time are still played everywhere and that’s because great musical minds created these melodies for us to enjoy forever.
